HOUSTON – Are you ready to bid farewell to the “Rocketman” himself?

Grammy award-winning artist Elton John announced rescheduled dates for his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour for both North America and Europe via his social media accounts, including several in Houston. The tour was postponed last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“I’m going to go out in the biggest possible way, performing at my very best with the most spectacular production I’ve ever had, playing places that have meant so much to me throughout my career,” he said on social media.

Elton John will make a stop at Toyota Center on Friday, Jan. 21 and Saturday, Jan 22, 2022 , and will return to Houston later in the year to Minute Maid Park one last time on Friday, Nov. 4.

His final stop-ever in the U.S. will be at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, then will make one more stop in New Zealand before closing the curtain on his career one last time.

Tickets to the January shows are now on sale starting at $69, while tickets to the Minute Maid Park shows will be available for sale starting on June 30.
