There are several other stores in the Houston area staying open for Christmas.
For anyone who needs to pick up a last-minute gift card, CVS and Walgreens are both open for normal store hours. Randall's is also staying open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Christmas for families who need to pick up a missing ingredient for Christmas dinner.
FedEx didn’t quite beat the holiday rush and is working overtime to make Christmas delivery deadlines.
The company plans to ship packages in some markets after storms across the south delayed deliveries. It will also keep FedEx Express locations across the country from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. so customers can pick up their gifts.
