IIHS unveils Top Safety Pick Vehicles for 2016
No. 6 -- Toyota cars (37)
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety is giving an early Christmas present to some automakers.
The IIHS awarded its Top Safety Picks for 2016 to 61 vehicles. The only domestic model to qualify for Top Safety Pick+ was the Chrysler 200. Ford had just one winning model, the F150 Supercrew, which earned a Top Safety Pick rating.
Other popular winners include the Kia Soul, Mazda 3, Volkswagen Golf, and Toyota Camry.
