New Year's Day effort to feed homeless and veterans

As a New Year’s Day effort, The Oasis of Love Foundation will be serving the homeless and veterans who live nearby at Peggy’s Point Plaza Park.

The local charity ministers to Houston’s homeless.

Friday they plan to feed more than 500 people in need.
