A baby deer, formally known as a fawn, was in the rising waters along Magnolia Point Drive near Lake Houston in Huffman, Texas.

That’s when Elasko took the fawn, who still has its spots, into his own arms. He made sure the young deer was safe and dry.

His friends tell KPRC 2 that the fawn was taken to a nearby animal rescue that helps wildlife.
