Suspect crashes stolen vehicle, stabs man to death in SE Houston

A suspect crashed a stolen vehicle into a fence surrounding an apartment before stabbing a man multiple times in southeast Houston on Friday evening, according to HPD. The incident occurred at the 7000 block of Woodridge Square at 7:15 p.m.

Although there were no eyewitnesses to the crash itself, nearby residents reported seeing the suspect exit the vehicle and approach a man lying on the ground, flipping him over and stabbing him before fleeing. HPD arrived quickly at the scene and arrested the suspect. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. According to HPD, there is no known relationship between the suspect and the victim.
