KPRC 2 viewers send in pictures, videos of intense rain, hail as dangerous storms move through

HOUSTON – The Houston area was getting pounded Monday afternoon with the rainfall rate around 4 inches an hour at 2 p.m., according to KPRC 2 Meteorologists Justin Stapleton and Caroline Brown. Both airports had ground stops, Arcola had a funnel cloud, Sugar Land had damage as the storms moved through.
