Chester Pitts helps ring NASDAQ opening bell

NEW YORK – Members of the NFL Players Association helped ring the NASDAQ Opening Bell Thursday morning in Times Square.

The NFL Players Association (NFLPA) and Uber Technologies, Inc. rang the bell to celebrate their partnership to provide professional football players with safe and convenient transportation during the 2013-14 NFL season, according to NASDAQ.

Former Houston Texan and Local 2 Sports' Chester Pitts was among the group representing the NFLPA.

Pitts is in New York and New Jersey covering Super Bowl XLVIII and will have daily reports leading up to Sunday's big game on Local 2 News.
