The Houston Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run in North Houston.
Police say a woman was walking to her apartment from a store. She was trying to cross Northborough Drive when she was hit by a car. The driver of that car did not stop to help her.

The woman was taken to the hospital, where she is in critical condition but expected to survive.
Police are now working to find the driver responsible for the crash. They are trying to find witnesses who could describe the vehicle.
