Two-ton bull gets stuck in family's pool

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tennessee – Firefighters in Hamilton County, Tennessee made quite the unusual rescue this weekend after a bull decided to take a dip in his family's swimming pool.

The owners say that they have no idea how long the animal was in the pool, and were alerted to the situation by the family's rescue dog.

Firefighters admit that getting the bull out presented a unique challenge.

"He weighs over 2000 pounds so how are you going to get 2 thousand pounds out of a pool," asked Assistant Chief Jack Brellenthin of Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue.

Firefighters were eventually able to rescue the bull, and the owners are thankful that nothing worse came from the big guy's curiosity.
