2 injured in southwest Houston shooting

HOUSTON – Two people were injured in a shooting in southwest Houston early Tuesday morning, police said.

The shooting happened about 12:15 a.m. outside Fat Boy's Bar and Grill near the intersection of Interstate 610 South Loop and Hearth Drive.

Houston police said two men were sitting in a car when someone ran up and shot at them. One of the men was wounded in the head and the other was wounded in the hand.

Investigators said two gunshot victims showed up at Memorial Hermann for treatment, but their condition was not immediately released.

Police said they are looking for the gunman.
