Two arrested in overnight Popeye's burglary in southeast Houston

HOUSTON – According to reports, Houston police responded to a burglary around 1:15 a.m. today.

An unknown number of suspects in two gray Chevy Impalas pulled up to a closed Popeye's Chicken and shattered the glass door of the business, the report said.

According to the report, the suspects broke open the safe and got away with an unknown amount of money.

The Houston Police Department responded quickly, but the suspects had already left the scene. 

Officers canvassed the area and spotted the two Impalas turning into an apartment complex on Edgebrook. 

Officers were able to catch and arrest two of the suspects.
