Man doused with gasoline, set on fire

Arguing heard minutes before victim's scream, witnesses say.

HOUSTON - Witnesses reported hearing arguing and then a man's screams, minutes before seeing him on fire, police said.

Investigators on scene said neighbors reported three men were arguing.  Then, a man was doused with gasoline and set on fire.  A gasoline can was found near the man's burning body.

He was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.  It happened early Sunday on Long Point Road and Witte Road in northwest Houston.

The victim has not been identified and police have not released a possible motive for the attack.
