HOUSTON – Police said a suspect carjacked a couple at gunpoint and took off with the driver's pickup truck.
According to reports, it happened around 2 a.m. Sunday after the couple left a nightclub near Wentworth and Dowling. Police said the couple was sitting in a Chevy Silverado talking when another car pulled up beside them.

They said a man jumped out of the approaching car, pointed a gun at the truck, and ordered the couple to get out.
The couple acquiesced, but the woman told police that the suspect complained she was taking too long and hit her in the head with the butt of his gun.
Afterwards, police said he fired the gun once into the air, jumped into the couple's truck and drove off.
The woman was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Her name was not immediately released.
The investigation is ongoing.
