KINGWOOD, Texas - The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal traffic accident in Kingwood.

It happened around 11:25 a.m. Saturday on the 1200 block of Magnolia Lane.

The victim was a 61-year-old man and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The man's identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Police say the driver of a gray Volkswagen Jetta was driving westbound on Magnolia and did not yield the right of way at a stop sign at the intersection of Forest Cove Drive.

The Volkswagen collided with a Ford F-150 pickup truck driving south on Forest Cove and then with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle also traveling south, according to investigators.

Officials say that's when the truck skidded, flipped and came to a stop facing northbound on Forest Cove. The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene.

There has been no filing of charges and the investigation is ongoing.
