HOUSTON, Texas – A car crash sent a Harris County Sheriff's deputy to the hospital Monday morning.
Officials say the off-duty deputy was driving through the intersection of the East Freeway and Uvalde when another driver ran the stop sign and slammed into her.

The deputy suffered minor injuries. The other driver was ticketed for the accident.
