CONROE, Texas – Conroe police are looking for a group of five people who broke into a jewelry store and tried to rob it. They didn't get away with anything because a store employee confronted them with a gun.
At approximately 9:09 a.m. Monday, Conroe police said they received a call of an aggravated robbery at Jeff's Jewelry at 4890 W. Davis. Officers said the group smashed the front glass door before the store opened, then they threatened employees with a gun and other weapons.

Police said they tried to break the glass cases to steal jewelry, but an employee with a gun confronted them.
The suspects got away in a white work/cargo style van with blue lettering. It was later found abandoned. They were wearing gloves and masks.
