Teens arrested in connection to 10 car burglaries

SANTA FE, Texas – Santa Fe police arrested three teens in connection to a string of car burglaries.

Police said they got the call of a burglary at the 11800 block of Old Spanish Trail yesterday around 3:00 a.m.

When officers arrived they spotted a man in the process of burglarizing a vehicle and arrested him.

Minutes later police said they spotted a vehicle matching the description of the suspect's vehicle.

Upon stopping the vehicle, three males were arrested after being found in possession of items missing in the vehicle burglaries.

Three adults and a 16-year-old juvenile were subsequently charged with Engaging in Organized Crime, they are identified as follows:
Douglas V. Getters, 19, of Texas City; Bond set at $100,000
Anonh C. Mccarver, 18, of Texas City; Bond set at $100,000
James P. Sullivan, 19, of Texas City; Bond set at $100,000.
The juvenile is being held in custody pending a hearing.

The Galveston County Auto Crimes Task Force assisted in the investigation.
