Teen home alone held at knifepoint during home invasion in NW Houston

HOUSTON – A 15-year-old boy was home alone when he was terrorized by an armed home invader.

It happened in the Inwood West subdivision off Bingle Road in northwest Houston.

The teen had just taken out the trash and may have been followed back inside.

A man wearing a mask and wielding a knife made the teen go from room to room and threatened him.

"He demanded jewelry and money and he spent like five minutes inside," the victim's neighbor said.

The identity of the victim and his mother is being withheld because the mother is worried the man who targeted her son isn't done yet.

"He's very shook up," she said. "Very shook up they threatened him. I'm just hoping they don't come back taking him with me we'll have to figure something else out."
