ROSENBERG – A burglar was arrested after he was caught in the act in Rosenberg.
According to Rosenberg police, a neighbor called 911 after seeing someone break into a home on Avenue R around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

When officers arrived, they say 19-year-old Christopher Sanchez dropped everything and ran away from officers.
Police eventually caught up with Sanchez and took him into custody.
Sanchez was arrested for burglary and evading arrest.
Rosenberg police say their investigation is ongoing.
