Super Bowl Opening Night will feature X Ambassadors, Hall of Famer Warren Moon

Event will kick off week-long Super Bowl festivities

HOUSTON – Rock band X Ambassadors and former Houston Oilers star Warren Moon will be a part of Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade.

The event will take place Monday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. at Minute Maid Park. It will mark the first time that players and coaches from the competing teams will meet with thousands of media members.

X Ambassadors said it sees the performance as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. "We look forward to putting on an electrifying show as part of the amazing festivities occurring during Super Bowl week," said the band.

Warren Moon is best known for his years with the Houston Oilers (1984-1993). The Pro Football Hall of Famer said, "I am excited to return to my second home and to help fans experience the energy of the big game before kickoff on Sunday."

Fans will have two opportunities to see X Ambassadors perform during Super Bowl Opening Night. First during "halftime" of the team media sessions, and then at the end. You can purchase tickets at Ticketmaster.

Super Bowl LI will be at NRG Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 5.
