HOUSTON – A man was arrested Tuesday in the stabbing death of his 64-year-old stepfather in east Houston over the weekend.
The Houston Police Department said Kenneth Davis, 42, was arrested Sunday after a man’s body was found around 4:30 p.m. at a home in the 8700 block of Othello Street near Quaker Street. Investigators said the victim had died of stab wounds.

An investigation led authorities to Davis, who is the victim’s stepson.
Davis left the house in his stepfather’s gray Mazda CX-9, investigators said. The man later came back to the house and was arrested.
He is now charged with murder.
