The morning starts cold but the area will see highs around 60 degrees

HOUSTON – After a week of cold and dreary weather, Friday's forecast is welcome news. Despite getting off to a cold start in the 40s, afternoon highs will be around 60 degrees.
The warm up continues through the weekend with a high temperature expected of 64 degrees Saturday.
Local 2 Meteorologist Britta Merwin predicts the Houston area will be flirting with 70 degree temperatures next week.
