GALVESTON, Texas – After being stuck in port for days to undergo repairs, the Carnival Liberty is scheduled to depart Galveston on Thursday afternoon.
A generator issue caused the ship to arrive in Galveston hours late on Halloween.

The next day, Carnival canceled a cruise, citing a technical issue that they had hoped to have repaired in time for the sailing.
The company also called off a Nov. 5 cruise.
On Thursday, Carnival said the ship is scheduled to depart at 4 p.m. The modified itinerary includes a call in Progresso, Mexico, instead of Cozumel.
The company said that trips after Nov. 14 are expected to operate as normal.
