HOUSTON – A pregnant woman was shot in her car in northwest Houston Tuesday, according to officials.
Houston police said someone called 911 to say a woman who was 8 months pregnant had been shot and she was in the parking lot of a Shell gas station on Antoine near Highway 290.

A clerk at the gas station said two cars pulled into the parking lot and moments later, an ambulance arrived to transport someone. The shooting did not appear to have occurred at the gas station.
The woman is expected to be OK.
No other information was immediately released.
