Police searching for hit-and-run driver who injured 2 pedestrians

Victims were crossing Fairdale Lane in Houston

HOUSTON – Police are searching for a person who hit two people who were crossing the street at 10 p.m. on May 18 in the 6000 block of Fairdale Lane in Houston.

Police said the person was driving a gray Hyundai or Toyota Corolla. The driver reportedly didn't slow down and hit both of the pedestrians.

The driver left the scene without stopping to help the victims.

Witnesses said the driver was possibly female.

The victims were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
