Police looking for man accused of withdrawing stolen funds from local banks

HOUSTON – Houston Crime Stoppers and Waxahachie police officers are offering a reward for information on a man accused of forgery and theft.

Police said on Sept. 16, a person's email account was compromised and a wire transfer of more than $40,000 was re-routed to the suspect's bank account.

Surveillance cameras caught images of the suspect, who is said to have withdrawn the stolen funds from various banks and ATMs in the Houston area. 

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477) or by submitting online at www.crime-stoppers.org.
