Officers crash helping officer pinned in fence

HOUSTON – A police officer's arm accidentally got stuck in a fence and when fellow officers arrived to help, they crashed into the same fence.

The police officer was responding to a call at an apartment complex in southwest Houston on Bankside Drive and Bob White Drive Thursday around 10 p.m. when her arm got pinned in the gate as it opened after she accessed the 911 box.

The officer was treated at a hospital for severe cuts to her arm.

The two officers who crashed were not injured, according to Houston police.
