Motorcyclist killed in crash in League City

League City police are investigating

League City, TX – A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle accident Monday morning, League City police said.

It happened at 4:37 a.m. in the 1300 block of East F.M. 646.

A preliminary investigation suggests that a motorcycle was traveling west on East F.M. 646 when it entered the intersection at South F.M. 270. The motorcycle collided with a vehicle that was turning from the eastbound lane and north onto South F.M. 270, police said.

The 31-year-old motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The victim's identity has not been released.

The League City Police Department's Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the accident.
