A mother is accusing Pottery Barn Kids of gender stereotyping.
Sarah Murdough wrote to the company on Facebook after she says customer service representatives refused a request to put a dragon patch on her 6-year-old daughter's purple and turquoise striped backpack.

Currently, customers can only choose patches of images like a fairy, a butterfly, or a pink owl wearing a crown when ordering that particular backpack online.
A similar product, with green and navy stripes, excludes those patches, instead offering customers the option to select patches of a football, a rocket and a skateboard.
