HOUSTON – Ever thought about cheerleading for the Houston Texans? Now is your chance.
Tryouts for the team will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Houston Methodist Training Center.
To be eligible, you must be 18 years or older by April 2; have a high school diploma or GED; have at least a part-time job, be a full-time student or a full-time mom; and be in good physical condition.
Registration begins at 2:45 p.m. The training center is at 8799 Kirby Drive in Houston.
It’s free to try out, but you still have to register online before Saturday. You can do so through this link.
Being a cheerleader for the Texans isn’t a full-time job, but cheerleaders are paid for appearances, rehearsals, game days and other hours.
