HOUSTON – A man is dead after a drive-by shooting in North Houston.
Police found the victim just before 7:30 p.m. Friday near Greens Road and Ella.

Witnesses said a person riding in a dark blue SUV pulled up beside the victim and opened fire.
Investigators said the victim was shot nine or ten times. He died at the scene.
Police said the shooter took off.
Houston police describe the suspect vehicle as a dark blue Chevrolet Tahoe or Chevrolet Suburban with chrome rims and dark tinted windows. The vehicle may be known to travel in the Greenspoint area.
