Man hit while trying to cross FM 1960

Driver not expected to face charges

HOUSTON - Doctors are working to save the life of a man who was hit by a car while crossing a busy section of FM 1960.

It happened around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday on FM 1960 and Lee road.

Deputies said the light was green, when the man tried to cross the street.

They also said he was not in a protected crosswalk when he was hit.

He was taken by Life Flight Helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.

No charges are expected against the driver, who stayed at the scene.
