HOUSTON – A man was arrested and charged in connection with a crash that killed a man Saturday evening in north Houston.Â
The crash was reported about 6:35 p.m. at the intersection of Jensen Drive and Vaughn Street.
According to Houston police, a man was making right turn onto Vaughn Street when his vehicle was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Qualdro Reyes. The impact caused the victim’s vehicle to flip.
Police said the victim, identified only as a 75-year-old man, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Reyes, who was determined to be impaired, was arrested at the scene, police said.
Reyes was charged with intoxication manslaughter.
