Man arrested after severed head carried into grocery store, employee stabbed

ESTACADA, Ore. – A man covered in blood, holding a knife and carrying his mother's severed head walked into an Estacada, Oregon grocery store and stabbed an employee Sunday afternoon, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect, Joshua Lee Webb, 36, was arrested for the stabbing and for killing his mother, Tina Marie Webb, 59, at their home about 10 miles away before the incident at the grocery store.

Once inside the store, Webb stabbed an employee, Michael Wagner, who was flown to a hospital, according to Sandy Police. Wagner is expected to survive, police say.

Other employees at the store tackled Webb and held him down until police arrived.
