Man accused of threatening ex-wife in classroom

HOUSTON – A man has been accused of storming into a classroom full of high school students to confront his ex-wife.

Aaron Kollmann, 33, has been charged with felony stalking.

Prosecutors said Kollman went to Cypress Falls High School on Thursday, where his ex-wife, Jamie Kollman, is a teacher. The couple's divorce was finalized in June 2012.

Aaron Kollman went into Jamie Kollman's classroom during a class and yelled obscenities at Jamie Kollman, investigators said.

Also on Thursday, Aaron Kollman called Jamie Kollman 50 times and sent her 20 threatening text messages, one of which warned her to "sleep with one eye open," prosecutors said.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said they were called out to Jamie Kollman's home twice last week. Investigators said they suspect Aaron Kollman waited for his ex-wife in front of her home and smashed her car window.

Aaron Kollman was arrested on Friday, but he has been released from jail on bond. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.

Jamie Kollman did get a protective order against her ex-husband.
