HOUSTON – A man was arrested in Houston after allegedly impersonating a police officer.
According to the Houston Police Department, Mohamed Al Shukaili posed as an officer and detained a woman. The alleged incident happened on Aug. 16 in the 4500 block of S. Kirkwood.

When officers arrived on the scene, they said they asked for Shukaili's identification but he could not provide one.
HPD did not have details as to why Shukaili was allegedly detaining the woman.
Shukaili, 40, was charged with impersonating a police officer.
He is being held in the Harris County Jail on $5,000 bond.
