Man charged with burglary, accused of 5 sexual assaults

HOUSTON – A Houston man arrested for sneaking into a home and sexually assaulting a woman while she was asleep is charged with four other similar crimes.

Both Houston and Jersey Village police are handling the cases which span between both city's dating back to last year. Court records show 37-year-old Reginald Bond is accused of the five attacks that occurred from June 2014 through last week. He was arrested Friday. He's charged with five counts of burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit other felonies. Investigators said the other felonies they're looking into are sexual assaults.

Houston police aren't releasing any information about the cases. Bond's scheduled arraignment Monday on five charges of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit sexual assault was put off after Easterling was named to represent him.

Bond's defense attorney was contacted for comment, however he said he had just gotten the case over the weekend and at this point didn't know enough about the details to comment.

Though records show Bond has no previous arrests in Houston, he was arrested in Missouri in 2007 for assault.
