HOUSTON – Police are investigating after a man accidentally shot himself in the chest.
It happened around 1 a.m. Sunday on the 8500 block of Snowbank Drive in northwest Harris County.

According to Harris County deputies, four men were sitting in the back of a pickup truck, when one took out a gun and pointed it at his own chest.
Witnesses told investigators the gun the accidentally went off.
The man was flown to the hospital in stable condition.
