Jace Larson

Jace Larson is an investigative reporter at KPRC 2 News. He started in October 2013.

He's an award-winning reporter who has taken home a Columbia duPont Award, four regional Emmy awards and an Edward R. Murrow regional award. The organization Investigative Reporters and Editors recognized his work as a finalist for the Freedom of Information award in 2013.

People frequently ask Jace what stories he investigates.

"I want to know about the person wasting your tax money. Who is spending our money at expensive restaurants or taking expensive work trips that aren't really needed? The next time you think to yourself, 'That's not right,' email me," he said. "I investigate everything from how government spends taxpayer money, to people taking advantage of others, to businesses repeatedly doing customers wrong."

"If you decide to join me in the social media conversation, you'll see plenty of pictures of my awesome dog. Rocky is an Italian Greyhound. He's really like my kid," Jace said.

Jace is an avid traveler and likes experiencing what the world has to offer.

"Where is my favorite place? Brazil or Israel rank at the top," he said.

Before moving to Denver, he worked in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Quincy, Illinois. He graduated from Principia College near St. Louis. He grew up on a cattle ranch in Washington State.
