HOUSTON – The body of a young man was found in northeast Houston late Sunday night.
Police said they responded to a shooting on Romea near Ranger at around 9:20 p.m. Sunday after two people reported hearing gunshots in the area.

When officers arrived, police found the body of a 22-year-old man who had been shot multiple times.
No one witnessed the actual shooting, but a witness told police he heard gunshots and then saw a dark-colored SUV leaving the scene.
The victim's name was not immediately released pending family notification.
