HOUSTON – For the first time in The Woman's Hospital of Texas (TWHT) history, 1,000 babies were delivered in one month.
Parents Maher and Tonya Chehab and big brother Kareem of the Heights welcomed Zane into the world at 2 p.m., September 30th, 2015. Zane weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 inches long at his birth.

"We are excited that Zane is the first 1,000th baby to be born in one month at The Woman's Hospital of Texas," Tonya Chehab said. "We had a wonderful experience with the birth of Kareem at The Woman's Hospital of Texas. It was important for us to find a hospital that would support our birthing choice."
Baby Zane was delivered by Dr. Margaret Markham, Houston Women's Care Associates OB/GYN.

The Woman's Hospital of Texas said it is proud to welcome more babies than any other hospital in Houston, and the second highest number of babies in Texas.
