HOUSTON – In an effort to help veterans reenter the workforce, NBC and KPRC Local 2 have teamed up to bring Hiring Our Heroes job fairs to Houston.
A job fair is being held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Westin Galleria and Westin Oaks Houston, 5060 West Alabama, in the Galleria area.

Dozens of companies will be on hand, officials said.
Job seekers can pre-register before the event.
The unemployment rate for veterans is 12.1 percent, so any help is welcome.
