A man helping another driver was hit and killed on Highway 146 near Business 146 in Baytown Saturday morning.
Baytown police said the man got out of his pickup truck around 3:45 a.m. to help direct traffic in the northbound lanes around a disabled car.

According to police, a driver slammed into the truck, then ran over the good Samaritan.
He died at the scene.
Baytown police are investigating whether the suspected driver in the crash was drunk.
