HOUSTON – Officials said the gas leak at Bush Airport has been secured.
Investigators said a construction worker hit a gas line near Terminal B around 12:25 p.m. Wednesday.
Officials said no evacuations were ordered, but traffic was rerouted from South A to South B.
Airport operations were not affected by the leak.
However traffic to terminals A and B are backed up for at least an hour.
Crews with the Houston Fire Department, HLP, CenterPoint Energy and the Airport Police Department responded to the incident.
