Galveston – The Galveston Police Department is searching for the man who abducted a woman before sexually assaulting her.
Investigators say the incident happened shortly after midnight on Dec. 22, 2013.

Police said the woman was walking along 8th Street at Market, which is across from UTMB.
The woman was taken to an unknown location and sexually assaulted, investigators said.
According to Lt. Gray with the Galveston Police Department, the woman reported the attack four days later.
No other information has been released.
