Free McDonald's breakfast for Houston-area students, teachers on STAAR Test day

HOUSTON – McDonald’s across the Houston area will be giving free breakfast Tuesday to students and teachers on STAAR Test day, the restaurant confirmed.

The free breakfast will begin at 6 a.m. and go through 9 a.m.

Students in grades third through eighth who are taking the test and teachers who present a valid school I.D. will have several options to choose from for their breakfast.

Entrée: Fruit & Maple Oatmeal or an Egg White Delight McMuffin Sandwich.

Beverage: Apple juice or 1 percent low fat milk with apple slices.

To participate, students must dine- in and have parents or legal guardians with them.
