HOUSTON - A vacant one-story northeast Houston house caught fire Sunday.

Fire crews said they saw heavy smoke and flames when they arrived at the home on Elysian Street and Campbell Street at 11:30 p.m.

The fire was put out in 10 minutes. No one was inside the home because it had been condemned.

People next door recently purchased the property for an expansion.

An investigation is under way to see exactly what sparked the fire.
