HOUSTON - The FBI is looking for a bank robber who may have hit two banks in two days.
Around 2 p.m. Thursday, investigators said the robber, who was carrying a manila envelope, walked into the Metro Bank in the 2800 block of Milam in downtown Houston. Once inside, officials said he demanded cash from the teller, stuffed the cash in the envelope and took off. No one was hurt.
Witnesses told police the same man robbed the Wells Fargo Bank in the 10900 block of Grant Road a day before. In that robbery, officials said the crook walked away empty-handed.
The robber is described as black, 28 to 35 years old, around 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 150 to 160 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to give Crime Stoppers a call at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
