HOUSTON – A father has been arrested in connection with the death of his infant son.
Everton Oneal Bryan, 20, is charged with murder and injury to a child with serious bodily injury.

According to Houston police, his son, Daniel, was transported to Texas Children's Hospital on Aug. 21. The infant had suffered several blunt trauma injuries and died a few days later at the hospital, police said.
Investigators said the baby's injuries were not consistent with Bryan's account of what happened. When he was interviewed again, detectives said he admitted to hurting his son.
Bryan was arrested.
